« In my current  reasearch, I use photography as a medium to create  a personnal imagery through a transfer of the polaroïd emulsion on rag paper with watercolor touch up  over certain areas of the image. I use handpainted backdrops  for the flowers that I photograph ; I sometimes take for  matrix  the polaroïd SX70 which I  « engrave » with a smooth needle. I  photograph again  this polaroïd  before I transfer the emulsion on  a watercolor paper.  I then take advantage of the irregularities and transparencies of the emulsion to breed a new  life  to the image : smoother and warmer than regular photography, much in the spirit of a watercolor or of a drawing. »
